--- title: Changes Log version: 1 effective: 2026-11-04 --- # Changes Log Version 1, effective 2026-11-04. > **In short (not the binding text; the numbered sections below are):** > Every text has a version number and a date. Nothing changes silently. > Big changes: 30 days' notice, on the hub and by GitHub or email. The hub asks you to accept again where needed. > Every version stays readable forever, and the hub shows the hash of the exact text you accepted. > This page is the list. If a text is not here, it does not bind you. > Urgent fixes for the law or to protect people can land faster. We still say what and why. ## 1. How versions work 1.1. Every text at hub.wolos.org/terms has a version number and an effective date at its top. A new version gets the next number. 1.2. Each version is a commit in the hub's public repository, so its full history is public. The hub computes the SHA-256 hash of the exact text it shows, and records that hash with every acceptance. 1.3. Old versions stay readable in the history of the hub's public repository, and we send any old version on request. ## 2. How changes are announced 2.1. **Changes that matter to you** (your rights, your duties, what we keep, what a label means): at least **30 days** before they take effect, we: - publish the new version on the hub, with a short list of what changed; - show a notice on the hub to every signed-in person; - send a GitHub notification or an email, when we have a way to reach you; - add an entry to section 4 of this page. 2.2. **Changes that do not matter to you** (typos, clearer wording with the same meaning, new links, translations): they may take effect when published, and are listed here. 2.3. **Changes required by law, or needed at once to protect people:** they may take effect sooner. We announce them as soon as we can and say why. ## 3. Accepting a new version 3.1. Texts you accept (the Contributor Licence Agreement, the Terms of Use, the Publisher Agreement, the Trust Terms and the Certificate Terms): the hub asks you to accept the new version before your next action that needs it. Until you accept, the version you accepted earlier applies to what you did under it. 3.2. Policies you do not accept separately (the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Notice, the Hub Policies, the Notices and Takedown page, the Disclosure Policy, the Trade Mark Policy, this page) apply from their effective date. If you do not agree, you can stop using the hub and ask us to delete your hub account. Where the law allows, using the hub after the effective date means you accept the new version. 3.3. We never use a change to start a new use of your personal data without telling you first and, where the law asks for it, getting your consent. 3.4. A change to a text never takes away, for the past, a right you already used, and never makes past conduct a breach. Where the law that protects you as a consumer requires more (for example your agreement to a change), we follow it. ## 4.
